Picture Save Hack

Ever been to one of those sites where you wanted to save picture but you couldn’t?
You right click but there’s no save picture as button right?
Here’s a simple and effective way to still save those kinds of pics to your comp.

Put your mouse cursor anywhere over the picture you want to save. Left click and hold it while you drag the cursor in any direction inside the picture. Now without letting go of the left mouse button, hit the right mouse button and there should be that save picture as link in the menu. BTW, if the picture your trying to save is inside of a flash presentation… sorry but your out of luck…

On a side note, if you tend to go to different sites and save each picture by right clicking and save picture as this is your lucky day! There’s a little tool out there called Express Webpictures. Go google it and d/l because it’ll save you a ton of right clicking! ^_^

::Update::

If you really really really want to save a pic but can’t and the above methods don’t work there is a way. It requires a bit of extra time and energy but it’s worth it if you really need the picture. Hold down the Ctrl key and hit the print screen button which should have the letters “Prt Scr” written on it. Now open up paint or some other photo editing program such as photoshop and hit Ctrl + V (aka paste) and save. Now of course you don’t want the whole image because you’ll end up with your taskbar and what not. Simply crop your pic and your done! ^_^
