Just like the title says, this hack is for anyone who needs to remove a watermark/s from a PDF file. Basically there are three methods to do this with option 1 being the most ideal, option 2 being the second best method and option 3 being the dirty hack.

Option 1

If you can find/access the original Word doc or the Excel spreadsheet, (or maybe you already own it) simply use a free PDF tool to create a new PDF file. You can find these free PDF tools by checking our Office Tools area under Office Suites and Apps.

Option 2

If the PDF with the watermark is not password protected you can always install a trial copy of Adobe Acrobat 8. Then open the document and choose the “Remove Watermark” option before re-saving.

Option 3 (teh Dirty hak)

If worst comes to worst, use Zamzar to convert the PDF into a Word doc then use a word processor such as MS Word or Google Docs to open the converted file. You will probably see the watermark as an overlapping layer above the text. Delete the watermark and save. ^_^

Option 4 aka Plan B

If you only need to remove the watermark from a couple of pages (like 1 or 2) you can try taking a screenshot of the page you want by hitting CTRL + Prt Scr then pasting the image in a program such as Photoshop and use the Magic Wand or Touch Up tool to erase the watermark.
