Move The Menu Bar In IE7

If your used to having the menu bar at the top of whatever program your using like me, then you probably don’t like how IE7 hides the menu bar by default and then puts the menu bar under the address bar when you enable it. Any decent programmer/developer knows that you never move the navigation. Kind of like when you build a website… it makes it just a wee bit difficult for visitors when you change the navigation around from page to page. After giving us the menu bar at the top of all of their programs for many years, I think M$ should know better than to change it. Enough with the rant, on to the hack.

Your going to have to make a reg file so fire up notepad and copy/paste the text in bold below:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftInternet ExplorerToolbarWebBrowser]
“ITBar7Position”=dword:00000001

Now save your text file with the .reg extension ex: iemenubar.reg

After you’ve saved the text file just double click on it to add it to the registry.

Restart IE7 and you should see the change.

Minesweeper Hack

Minesweeper is probably the only game that I never got…
At one point I even went online and found instructions but still didn’t understand how to play it.
If there was ever a game that needed hax0ring it’s Minesweeper.
So off we go!

  1. Open Minesweeper
  2. Press xyzzy
  3. Hold down the “shift” key
  4. At the top left monitor there should be a white pixel that appears
  5. Now move the mouse around until the white pixel disappears to find the squares with mines.

3D Pinball Hacks

Ever wanted to get the high score? Well now you can!

Load up 3D Pinball then type in “hidden test” > enter
Now get your mouse and click on the pinball machine. You should now be able to drag the pinball around yay!
(You have to hold down the left mouse button while you drag the pinball)
Hit the “R” key during a game to increase your rank.

Finally, with 3D Pinball loaded up hit the “H” key on your keyboard. A dialog box with a high score of 1,000,000,000 should come up with a space to type in your name.

Update: You can also type 1max for additional balls or bmax for unlimited tries at the start of a new game.

How To Run A Traceroute aka Trace An IP Adress

  1. Click on start
  2. Click Run
  3. Type CMD in the dialog box
  4. Now in the prompt window type tracert (space) and the name of the address you want to trace. ex: www.google.com
  5. Write down the final IP Address from the prompt and head over to IP-adress.com
  6. In the box next to the button “lookup any ip” type in the IP Address you wrote down earlier
  7. Click on the “lookup any ip” button
  8. You should now have a google map of the location

Win at FreeCell Everytime

Want to beat FreeCell everytime you play it?

As soon as you open up a new game of FreeCell in Windows XP, hit ctrl + shift + f10. In the dialog box that comes up hit abort. Now move any card and you WIN!

Not only can you win at every game you can also sort the cards.

Go to the game tab, select game, end the current game and type -1 in the dialog box and FreeCell sorts all the cards ascending.

Now try the same thing except type -2 in the dialog box and you get all the cards descending.
